About

Urban planning needs new instruments.

Cities are changing faster than the tools used to imagine them. Streets, mobility systems, biodiversity, energy flows and public space are increasingly digital — but the conversation around them often remains abstract, late and difficult to access.

UCity was formed to explore the interfaces cities need now: tools that let citizens see proposals in place, planners test scenarios before they are built, and non-human perspectives become visible in the process.

The work moves between urban planning, interaction design and spatial computation. It is practical enough to be deployed, and speculative enough to question what a city can become.
